What we can help with

Itinerary changes and cancellations

We check what your United fare allows before recommending any action.

Rebooking after disruptions

United's hub structure — particularly Chicago O'Hare and Newark — means most domestic and international rebooking connects through one of its seven hubs.

International long-haul assistance

United is now the largest US carrier by seat miles and operates an extensive international network. Changes on long-haul itineraries often affect multiple legs.

Name corrections and group coordination

We sort out name mismatches and coordinate changes across multi-passenger bookings.

Traveling with United Airlines

United operates from seven US hubs: Chicago O'Hare, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, New York/Newark, San Francisco and Washington Dulles. For summer 2026, United planned its largest-ever schedule from Chicago O'Hare — up to 750 daily flights, with nonstop service to 222 destinations including 47 international cities. United is a member of the Star Alliance.

United's international network is the most extensive of any US carrier, including 41 destinations not served by any other US airline. Its premium international cabin is United Polaris; United Premium Plus is the premium economy product on most widebody aircraft.

United's reach

Chicago O'Hare is United's largest hub and the primary gateway for domestic connections across the Midwest and international flights to Europe and Asia. Newark serves as the main East Coast international gateway, with extensive transatlantic and Pacific flying. San Francisco and Los Angeles anchor the Pacific operation.

For 2026, United launched new international routes from Newark to Bari (Italy), Split (Croatia), and Seoul Incheon, alongside expanded European service from Chicago and other hubs. The airline serves over 370 destinations across six continents.

Route information reflects the published network for United Airlines as of September 2026 and can change; check the airline directly for current schedules.

How MyFlightsAssist can help

United's fare rules differ meaningfully across its ticket classes. We pull up your specific booking and check what's actually allowed before recommending a change or cancellation. For international itineraries touching multiple hubs or partner airlines, we look at the full picture before making any recommendation.

Any fare, fee or penalty set by United Airlines is separate from our own professional service fee. See our Service Fees page for details.
