Refund Policy

This page explains how refunds work when you use MyFlightsAssist, and the difference between an airline refund and our own service fee.

Airline refunds

Whether a ticket is refundable, and how much comes back to you, depends on the fare you purchased and the airline's rules for that fare. We check your specific ticket before advising on a cancellation, rather than assuming a general policy. Airline refunds are processed by the airline, generally back to the original form of payment, and airline refund timelines are set by the airline rather than by us.

Our service fee

Our professional service fee, where one applies, compensates us for the work of researching your options and handling a request on your behalf. Because this fee reflects work already performed, it is generally non-refundable once the service has been carried out, unless we were unable to complete the request you asked for. Full service-fee refund terms are published on our Service Fees page and confirmed with you directly before any fee is charged.

If we can't complete your request

If we're unable to carry out the specific request you engaged us for, we will let you know and discuss appropriate next steps, which may include a refund of our service fee for that request.
